After months of playing Hide and Seek, we have come across a good chapter. This year was supposed to the "Year of Sanji". Since the beginning of the journey into the new world, Sanji has remained obscure. He remained in the background in Fishman saga, broke his leg attacking Vergo, was beaten by Doflamingo, was absent for the rest of dressrosa arc, and was unable to do anything against GERMA66. ODA stated that this year the story will highlight Sanji and the beginning of the next year(2018) will highlight ZORO and his journey into wano, the samurai country.

| Zoro Vs Bartolomew Kuma |
Zoro and Sanji have had a long-standing rivalry. Sanji much like Vegeta has endured living in Zoro's shadow, the freshest memory being his inability to maintain his consciousness while confronting Bartholomew Kuma. Kuma provided the trigger to show the crew the need to get strong and the challenges that await them in the new world. Sanji has shown he is a clever character throughout the series popping up at the critical moment (popping into the train after the water 7 attack, destroying the bridge control during enies lobby escape). Whilst zoro has shown his growth in overcoming Pika but, he has yet to face a more noteworthy challenge, he has shown his dominance.
But, Sanji has yet to do anything noteworthy in this arc whilst, once again Luffy has been the centerfold fighting biscuit and katakuri(a needless fight and boring hide and seek affair). But, after a long period, we got to see the newest member of strawhats show his worth. The former sun pirates vice-captain and former shichibukai take a stab at big mom after rescinding his allegiance to her. He is able to momentarily hold a slash from big mom at her peak and after that deals a blow to knock her off her feet with help from brook, another straw hat who has proven his worth in this arc. Soul king is able to use his sword to cut souls(Zeus). The best moment of the chapter was possibly nami making Zeus fear for his life and is about ready to switch allegiance to the feline queen. All in all, a good chapter to end the end but, seriously made Sanji do something other than taking out big mom with frosting!!! Seriously!! COME ON!!! FROSTING????

| Is Sanji modified like his siblings? |
His past has always remained a mystery, his sudden appearence with baratie head chef was too vague. It still remains to be seen if he actually received a power-up after his father's experiments or has he inherited something from his mother. As it seems, the germa are heading back towards big mom and it remains to be seen if any new information will come to light. One theory that has been circulating is that sanji loses his leg and gets a prosthetic from germa but, i would like to keep that in the back because its too dark.
