Hi guys,
So it been a long time since the crew arrived on whole cake island in search of sanji. They have gone through two sweet commanders one of whom had a bounty of 1 billion beli and are now nearing the climax of the arc( I think). Oda promised that this arc will be the year of sanji but, so far all we have seen is a wimpy character who is still nowhere near zoro. Since arriving on new world sanji has been on the back-burner compared to zoro who has been on full throttle; at least that was my belief but, perhaps sanji has reached his current limitation. Maybe this arc was a reminder that he was and maybe is still self conscious because he grew up in an environment where he could not compete with his brothers and was always reminded o be a failure. Sanji has yet to show armament haki as evidenced by this crumbling when he went against vergo. His past is holding him back? Is he still subconsciously aware and has given up trying to reach the apex because of his past. Zoro is a prideful man, he doesn't like to lose. he will train till he reaches and conquers his opponent as we have seen countless times when he trains himself when he struggles to overcome in a fight. His loss to kuma and the pacifista had a huge impact on him. Is this arc about sanji throwing away his past grief and showing his true strength with new resolve. Hmmmmmm....................
Let us see if anything comes to light before another break. Its already been dragged a lot. I understand that a yonkou territory can be extremely hostile, ruthless and you want to highlight the threat one experiences under such continuous assault from all directions with no room to breathe. but, please Oda stop with the breaks already.
