One Piece is on break as usual so, my last memory was Luffy carrying Nidai kitetsu. Surely, many would have suspected like i did that after we saw Zoro enter the fray; he would end up using it. Currently Zoro has in his possession three swords:
1. Shusui - From Ryuma's zombie- Quality unknown but, a famed and legendary sword.
2. Wado ichimonji - From his master/ Kuina's father - Meitou quality sword and a dear belonging of his deceased childhood friend and one of his drive.
3. Sandai kitetsu - From swordsmith in louge town(East blue) - Meitou sword but, cursed origins
Now many are hoping Zoro gets a kokuto sword like Hawkeye mihawk's Yoru(Black blade), a sword of supreme grade(1 of 12 in the one piece universe). But my question is this: Doesn't he already possess a kokuto? Isn't Shusui a kokuto?

Shusui is a national treasure of Wano. It is highly respected and famed sword in Wano. When, Kinemon first realized that Zoro had it in his possession in punk hazard, he immediately attacked him and questioned its possession?

This action by Kinemon can be taken in another way though:
We know Shusui went missing around 23 years along with Ryuma's corpse possibly because of Gecko moria's actions but, the people of Wano may not be aware of it. Ryuma was a highly respected swordsman of Wano. So, the respect for shusui(which may or may not be a kokuto as we dont have enough evidence to confirm its craftsmanship origin. But, is considered a Meitou quality) comes from the qualities of Ryuma and considered a sacred and national treasure due to its abrupt disappearance from history.
My argument is that a sword considered a national treasure of a country of samurai has got to be one of the greatest quality. Nidai kitetsu is still not a kokuto. If we come across Shodai kitetsu that changes things completely. But, there was a theory that shodai kitetsu has already been shown. It is speculated to be the sword of the man in Gorosei with glasses.
Who knows; for all we know he could well be Kitetsu himself or a descendant. But, Zoro is not gonna ditch his swords unless they are destroyed. He will pursue anyone to the ends of red line if his swords get taken away from him.
