With the U-20 vs Blue Lock arc nearing curtain draw. I am curious as to what the next arc will focus on, Blue Lock has more than proven their worth with a 3-3 draw. Their ego and hunger have carried them against an older more experienced U-20 squad showing themselves to be on a higher level but, they still need to prove they are a step above the class of the current U-20 members. I suspect that the blue lock team will score a great goal but, regardless of the result the goal of the project has already been highlighted. Many speculate the next arc to be about the wildcards but, I think it will be split between the blue lock having to come to face with the next level of talent that has been demonstrated by the Itoshi Sae vs Isagi matchup. They have the hunger now but, they need a higher goal. We may see them getting exposure to international players again. We have already seen them lose to the World Five with only Shidou and Rin managing to score a goal against the elites but, in a real stress scenario, such as the U-20 World Cup they may not score with such ease.
U-20 world cup and another selection:
I think the next arc is gonna be a selection process for the U-20 World Cup and here may where we can see the wildcards. We did not get to see all the players who were on the bench and the starters get the full exposure so, there may still be a chance to improve the team. Here we will come across Kira, Kunigami, Kuon, and the rest who may want to fight for a berth.
Matchups we may come across:
Kira vs Isagi (Could get a bit brutal for Isagi, perhaps a risk/fear of injury may cause him to lose composure)
Naruhaya vs Isagi
Kuon/Niko/Aryu/Reo vs Aiku (Molding the best defensive partner(they are all good candidates but, lack something and Aiku will stay captain and help them)
Kunigami vs Shidou/Isagi (Kunigmai will go all out after losing to Shidou and will compete for Isagi's place)
Shidou vs Rin (Philosophical battle) in a friendly match against International players (Sae will still refuse to pass to Rin despite the results of the U-20 vs Blue lock game)
The possible lineup for the U-20 world cup:
I have removed Otoya and Yukimiya because they shared the least chemistry with the rest of Blue lock. If blue lock revolved around Isagi then, the ones with a good understanding are Nagi, Sae, Barou, Rin, Karasu(the last play and also since the third selection he has proven to be observant), Sae, Chigiri, and Bachira. Aiku, Niko, and Reo will also go well with Isagi and Hiori, Nanase could be possible relievers as Subs. I would not mind replacing the right-wing with Hiori considering Baro's refusal to share the ball perhaps this is an area Kunigami could be deployed.

theatrical passes. Erik Lamela is known for scoring Rabonas and making rabona
passes while Paulo Dybala creates the final passes for his partner in crime Cristiano Ronaldo.
Leonardo Luna – Marco Asensio/ Saúl Ñíguez
Left-footed Spanish academy graduate who knows Itoshi Sae from his time in the academy. Could be any number of players from Sergi Roberto, Pedro, Alvaro Morata but, more likely than not it could be Marco Asensio or Saul Niguez who made headline in the recent past after their nod from the academy. Saul was with Real Madrid's academy before moving on to Atletico Madrid academy and making his senior debut.
17-year old France national prodigy with lightning-fast dribbles and acceleration. With great maturity to understand the defense and acumen for finding passes and calm in front of goal, he is a clear reminder of Mbappe from his days at Monaco.
